The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) here in Hudson County are leading a coalition of community organizations to win Right-to-Counsel, a policy that would guarantee every Jersey City renter legal defense in landlord-tenant court. Winning this reform is crucial to fighting against unfair evictions, combatting harassment from landlords, and building a movement of working people to make Jersey City ours -- not the developers'.

We'll be hosting a Tenants Forum followed by a Know Your Rights panel and a Political Education section on why the rent is so damn high.
